Under careful supervision, and with approved nets and specimen trays, our very special pond will be explored on these dates:

Saturday 24th October 2020. Last pond dipping session of the year. Approximately 10:00-13:00 (See below)

Christmas Card Upcycling Workshop

Saturday 10th October 2020. 10.00-14.00

Have you ever wondered what to do with all those old Christmas cards? Come and learn with Jenny Tippen how to upcycle them into new, high quality cards to send again this year. Take away all that you make. £5 charge for materials, tuition and unlimited tea and coffee.

Fungal Foray

Free Event led by Martin Newcombe, local experienced mycologist and forager. Meet at The Warren car park. Sturdy footware and a collecting basket or bag please! Ideal event for photographers too.

Half Term Children’s Activities

Saturday 24th October 2020. 10:00-13:00
Free event. Pond dipping, nature treasure trail and other outdoor activities throughout the morning. Plenty of prizes. Come and join the fun!

Grand Opening & Green Halloween

Saturday 31st October 2020. 10:00-13:00
Free event. Wear your best spooky costume and take part in the activities to mark the grand opening of our new building which houses the Brisley Community Hall and an exciting wildlife viewing platform. Lots of prizes to be won. The Repair Cafe will also be open so bring along your electrical or mechanical items that need repair and see if they can be fixed, free of charge!

An Environmental Christmas

Saturday 28th November 2020. 10:00-15:00
Free Event. Test your creativity and make one or all of your own Christmas decorations – snowmen, tree baubles, cards and more. A real interactive Christmas Fayre! Sample the festive fare at Footprints Cafe, listen to the Christmas music, chance to win an extra Christmas gift in our grand raffle. Don’t forget to book for the Storysack session and the Willow Wreath making, what’s not to love?
