Get fit

Get fit!

Looking after the environment and looking after yourself.

The Singleton Environment Centre supports volunteer-leaders who run different outdoor programmes. Each contribute to improving the local community and people’s wellbeing. These are year-round activities and take place in the specially designed Centre grounds and the neighbouring Ashford Community Woodland.

The Ashford Green Gym often travels to other work-locations. The Health Walks, starting and finishing at the Centre, add a programme of away-days in the summer.

You can easily join one or more of these activities.

Dog walking

Many dog walkers make use of the Ashford Community Woodland. Only assistance dogs may enter the Footprints Cafe. However, the covered outdoor-seating area and waterbowl are appreciated by well-behaved dogs.
