Education

Learning for all ages

The purpose of Singleton Environment Centre is to educate and inform. Our organised activities are very reasonably priced. We are grateful for the Community and Education Programme support by Great Chart with Singleton Parish Council.

Community and Education Programme

We offer educational activities – half days and full days – for nurseries, childminders, primary schools, secondary schools, home-ed groups, adult ed, clubs and private groups. Community days are held throughout the year.

Education visits for all ages

“School-age young people… are already consumers and citizens who make ethical and other judgements on a daily basis, and who have beliefs and values. There is, therefore, a responsibility on those who work with young people to ensure they are helped to contribute to a more just and sustainable future.”
Professor William Scott, Editorial, ‘Environmental Education’ Vol 120 Spring, 2019.

The Outdoor Classroom may be booked by schools and groups.
