Footprints Café Bistro is located within the Singleton Environment Centre and is open to the public as well as catering for all Centre events, meetings and functions. Footprints follows the theme of conservation and environmental awareness, by serving local and seasonal produce with ethically farmed meats and fish set in an unpretentious, elegant and relaxing location. Vegan options are always available.

Note: On Sundays, we do not serve the normal Bistro breakfast or lunch menu, only the Carvery menu. Tea, Coffee and Cakes are available up until 12, but priority goes to those booked on for the Carvery.

Monday to Saturday 9:00 – 4:00 (Breakfast from 9:30)
Monday to Saturday a breakfast menu is served from 9:30 to 11:30 and the lunch menu is available between 11:30 and 2:30 with drinks and snacks available any time between 9:00 and 4:00.
Sundays for Kentish carvery roast lunches between 12:00 and 2:00. Booking is strongly advised on 01233 668308. We do not serve the normal Bistro breakfast or lunch menu on Sunday, only the Carvery menu. Tea, Coffee and Cake is available until 12, but priority goes to those who have booked for the carvery.

Between 12pm and 3pm on a Sunday, priority is given to our customers for the carvery, so it may not always be possible to serve tea, coffee and cakes at this time, or there may be a delay to you being served.
It is possible to reserve a table in the Café. Sometimes in the morning you might use a table but are asked to vacate it for a later lunch reservation.
The food is freshly made with as much seasonal local produce as possible. There are local beers and wines, as well as some excellent European examples. Conscious of food miles ‘local’ is strongly featured as well as sustainability.

Footprints is fully licensed and holds the top 5 stars from Ashford Borough Council’s Environmental Health team under the catering food hygiene ratings scheme.
