Seniors Club

1st and 3rd Monday of the month, 1.30pm – 3.30pm, £3.50. 

Bi-monthly meet up for seniors. Join us to share a game, a chat or a hobby. No need to book in advance, just turn up and join in the fun.

Buggin’ About

Every Friday during term time, 10am – 11:30am, £5 per child

Ready for another term of fun, outdoor learning? This term, 6 exciting topics are lined up, all themed around the outside world and related to the late summer and early autumn. The terms and dates are as follows…

Minecraft Madness

Saturday 11th October, 10am – 11:30am, £7.50 per child

Join us to mine for emeralds in order to ‘purchase’ items to create a creeper head pinata (including the sweets!). Search for the recipe items needed for the crafting table to get a wooden sword to decorate.

Quiz Night

Saturday 18th October, 7.30pm – 9.30pm, £5 per person

Form a team of 4-6 people and bring your own snacks and drinks ready for some competitive fun.

Prosecco with Fused Glass

Sunday 19th October, 12pm – 1:30pm, £24 per person

Adult workshop to learn how to make a glass festive snowflake tree decoration. All glass resources, tuition, equipment, firing and a glass of prosecco are included.

Nature Stories: Funnybones

Tuesday 21st October, 10am – 11:30am, £7 per child

Immersive storytelling session filled with related craft activities. During this Funnybones session we’ll be making magic torch pictures, unjumbling dog bones, searching for skeleton zoo animals, playing bone themed park games and creating skeleton masks.

Sensational Spiders

Wednesday 22nd October, 10.30am – 12pm or 1pm – 2.30pm, £7.50 per child

Celebrate the spooky season with a family friendly spider filled session. You’ll learn sensational facts, make your own pet spider, complete the gruesome nature trail and mix some potions. Price includes a small trick or treat gift for everyone booked on.

Creepy Creations

Thursday 23rd October, 10.30am – 12pm, £6 per child

Join us to get ready for the spooky season with the chance to make three Halloween decorations. Create a clay ghost, decorate a dangling decoration and construct a straw skeleton. Suitable for ages 6 years +.

Footprints Cafe Christmas Dinner

7th – 14th December, £29.95 per adult and £19.95 for children aged 10 and under, 12pm onwards

It’s never too early to book a Christmas dinner! Places are filling quickly, so to book your place, call 01233 668308. A £10 non-refundable deposit is required per person.

Please note the pond is only available as a supervised activity and these are limited in number. The newts are a protected species.

Pond dipping

Under careful supervision, and with approved nets and specimen trays, our very special pond will be explored on future dates – TBC.
