REGULAR EVENTS

Eco Warriors

Last Saturday of the month, 10am – 12pm, £25 for the year

An eco programme for those aged 8 – 15 years. Drop and leave learning sessions run on the last Saturday of the month, February to November (no session in August). The cost covers access to all 9 learning sessions, the Eco Warriors handbook and at home task guidance. Complete a minimum of 6 sessions along with the at home task to achieve your SEC Eco Award.

Buggin’ About

Every Friday in term time, 10am – 11.30am, £6 per child 

Our pre-school nature group runs every Friday in term time with a different theme every week. Reserve your place online and pay at the start of the session. There is plenty of outdoor fun activities, exploration and nature craft for you and your little one to enjoy.

Buggin’ About Childminder Group

Every other Tuesday in term time, 10am – 11.30am, £6 per child 

Our Tuesday offering of our pre-school nature group runs every other Tuesday in term time with a different theme every week. This session is ideal for childminder groups. Reserve your place online and we will invoice you each month. There is plenty of outdoor fun activities, exploration and nature craft for you and your little ones to enjoy. Individuals are also welcome to attend on these Tuesday sessions so if you can’t make the Friday sessions make Tuesday your outdoor fun day!

Seniors Club

1st and 3rd Monday of the month, 1.30pm – 3.30pm, £3.50. 

Bi-monthly meet up for seniors. Join us to share a game, a chat or a hobby. No need to book in advance, just turn up and join in the fun.

Quiz Nights

Saturdays throughout the year, 7pm – 9.30pm, £7 per person

Form a team of 4-6 people and take on our quizmaster, Malcolm. Test your knowledge in this evening of fun competition.

Terrapy

Saturday 7th February 2026, 1pm – 3.30pm, from £37 per person

Learn about the wonderful world of Terrariums, including their history, before building your own tropical creation to keep forever. All tuition and resources included.

Love Nature

Saturday 14th February 2026, 10am – 11.30am, £6 per person

Fall in love with nature, this Valentine’s Day, with our nature activities. You’ll make a willow heart, decorate a cardboard heart with natural materials, complete a senses trail, make a nature pledge and toast marshmallows at the firepit.

A Game of Vipers

Saturday 21st March 2026, 6.30pm – 10pm, £27.50 per person

Our strategic game of deception is back and now dinner is included! Start your evening with a jacket potato supper whilst you get to know your fellow players. Use this time wisely as once the game begins it will down to you to uncover who is being true-hearted and who is the snake in the grass! The game consists of challenges – physical (not strenuous) and mental.

HALF TERM EVENTS

Nature Stories: Mr Wolf’s Pancakes

Tuesday 17th February 2026, 10am – 11.30am, £7 per person

An immersive storytelling experience exploring the book Mr Wolf’s Pancakes. We’ll be completing crafts and activities related to different parts of the story as we travel around the centre grounds, including cooking pancakes over the firepit.

Book Art

Wednesday 18th February 2026, 10am – 11am or 11.30am – 12.30am, £4.50 per person

Learn how to make your own book hedgehog to take home and display on your bookshelf. Decorate a wooden bookmark to use in your favourite book.

Creative Canvas’

Thursday 19th February 2026, 10am – 12pm, £7 per person

Drop and leave session for children aged 7 years +. Learn how to use collage and stencilling techniques to create your own creature onto canvas. Take home your masterpiece to proudly display on your wall.

Please note the pond is only available as a supervised activity and these are limited in number. The newts are a protected species.

Pond dipping

Under careful supervision, and with approved nets and specimen trays, our very special pond will be explored on future dates – TBC.
