Singleton Spaces has to raise the full cost of running Singleton Environment Centre and the community and educational activities. Please take up one or more of these opportunities to support the Centre…
In order to raise money for the charity a team of trustees, staff, volunteers and parish councillors are climbing Mount Snowdon in May 2025. This is a new challenge for all of us and we welcome your support.
The money raised will be used to enhance our outdoor learning space. Part of the centre’s grounds are used regularly by our pre-school nature group, schools attending educational visits, our events team for school holiday educational experiences plus team building events. In 2024 we developed this area through grounds maintenance, the installation of a wooden cabin, creation of a fire pit area and installation of a basic mud kitchen. The trustees and Education Team would like to further develop this area to support the educational learning and experiences taking place for all age groups. Part of the development includes the installation of a canopy to ensure our valued activities can continue throughout the whole year. The canopy will provide shade and rain cover.

Singleton Spaces has to raise the full cost of the operation and does so from room hire, office rental and surplus from the Footprints Cafe. It pays for the Centre Manager, Cafe staff and running costs.
Everything else is down to the volunteer board and other community supporters.
